Citi Adds New Transfer Partner
Citi revealed this week that ThankYou members now have a new option to redeem points for hotel stays. As of May 14th, Citi added Accor Live Limitless (ALL), as its latest partner in the ThankYou Points transfer program.
That means that Citi Prestige and Citi Premier cardmembers can transfer their ThankYou Points to Reward points from ALL, Accor’s lifestyle loyalty program. That opens up the opportunity for stays at over 5,000 hotels around the world.
Citi says that transfers to ALL Reward points are often completed within 24 hours, however the process may occasionally take up to 5 business days. ThankYou Rewards members can only transfer points to ALL – Accor Live Limitless account held in their own name.
Is it Worth it?
The transfer ratio for this new partner is 2:1. So, for every 2 ThankYou Points that you transfer, you will receive 1 ALL Reward point.
The Accor Live Limitless program does not have an award chart, and there are no sweet spots to exploit. 2,000 ALL Reward points equal EUR 40, which is about $43.50 at the time of writing. That means that ALL reward points are worth a fixed rate of about 2.2 cents each for hotel stays.
ThankYou Points transferred on the member’s ALL – Accor Live Limitless account are converted into Reward points. Transferred Reward points do not qualify for higher ALL – Accor Live Limitless account status calculation or maintaining existing ALL – Accor Live Limitless account status.
