Citi Dividend Announces 5% Categories for 1st Quarter
Citi has released the calendar for Q1 of 2024 for the 5% Cash Back categories. These are quarterly rotating categories for Citi Dividend cardholders. The Dividend card isn’t available to the public anymore, but many people still hold on to it. Let’s see the details.
Q4 2023 Calendar
- Amazon: All you Amazon purchases are included.
- Select Streaming Services: Includes the following cable, satellite, and streaming providers: Amazon Prime Video, Amazon Music, Apple Music, Disney+, DirecTV Stream, ESPN+, fuboTV, HBO Max, NBA League Pass, Netflix, Pandora, Paramount+, Showtime, Sling TV, Spotify, Starz, SiriusXM, Vudu, YouTube Red, YouTube TV, and Tidal.
Citi Dividend is similar to Discover it and Chase Freedom cards. But it is actually better as you can do all your spending in a quarter, if there’s a category you prefer. You can earn all of your cashback ($300) total any time during the year in whichever category you choose.
You can find the calendar here and register once it becomes available. You might also receive emails for 1-click activation for the new categories.
Conclusion
The Citi Dividend card has two 5% categories for this upcoming quarter, Amazon and Streaming Services. These are not the most exciting categories, but Amazon can be useful for some. Earning 5% on streaming services is also a good deal, but it is only for three months, and then you’ll have to switch all your payments again.
