Citi Adds Jet Airways as Transfer Partner

Citi has added Jet Airways to the list of transfer partners for its ThankYou Rewards program. Let’s take a look.

The Offer

JetPrivilege is the loyalty and rewards program of Jet Airways. JetPrivilege members can earn JPMiles across 150+ program partners spread across various categories like Airlines, Banking, Hotels, Dining, Retail, Car Rentals and much more. Redeem your accumulated JPMiles for award flights on Jet Airways, Etihad Airways and over 25 partner airlines to 1000+ destinations across the globe.

  • 1,000 Points = 1,000 JPMiles
  • Points can only be transferred in increments of 1,000.

Using JetPrivilege Miles

Jet Airlines is not a household name in the US but it has lots of coverage throughout India, the Middle East and South Asia. They do however have routes to North America. Jet Airways also became a Delta SkyMiles partner late last year, so you can search award space at Delta.com.

They fly between North America and India via Amsterdam which means they offer awards to Europe. Check out more info on that route on this View from the Wing post.

You can check the Partner Award Redemption chart for JetPrivilege here. Values shown are for Economy class. The JPMiles requirement for one-way travel on Business class will be twice and First class one-way travel will be thrice of what is mentioned in the table.

Conclusion

These new partnerships are always good news. They add new redemption opportunities and also add value to ThankYou points. With that said, I don’t think JPMiles will present lots of value for ThankYou points for most people.
