Citi Premier Card Welcome Bonus
The Citi Premier credit card has an increased offer for up to 75,000 ThankYou points that is available in branch only. This is the highest bonus we have seen for this card, but it is also limited to Citi Gold members. Other Citi Checking customers can still get a 70,000 ThankYou points. Let’s see the details.
The Offers
Citigold and Citigold Private Clients can earn:
- Earn 75,000 bonus ThankYou Points after you spend $4,000 in purchases with your card within 3 months of account opening.
- Annual Fee $95, not waived the first year.
Access Account Package, Basic Banking Package, Citibank® Account Package and Citi Priority Account Package customers can earn:
- Earn 70,000 bonus ThankYou Points after you spend $4,000 in purchases with your card within 3 months of account opening.
- Annual Fee $95, not waived the first year.
These are limited-time branch offers, valid from 4/2/21 to 6/30/21. You can see the details here.
Citi Premier Earning Structure
The Citi Premier earns points at the following rates:
- 3X ThankYou points on Grocery stores, Gas stations, Restaurants, Hotels and Airfare
- 1X ThankYou points on All Other Purchases
You can check out our Citi Premier Credit Card Review for more info.
Need to Know
- The bonus is not available if you have opened or closed a Premier, Preferred or Prestige card within the past 24 months.
Conclusion
If you are a Citigold member, then the 75,000 offer is the best ever. Even if you have a Citi checking account, the 70,000 is better than previous offers. The annual fee is not waived though. We have also seen in-branch offers for 65,000 ThankYou points for everyone else who is not a Citi customer, but I’m not sure if that is still available.

I’ve had this card for quite a few years and got the Citi Rewards card about 3 years ago. Can I get a SECOND Premier card, or does Citi limit you to one?
I am sure this is asked and answered somewhere but I just got to my hotel (road trip, 400 miles today) and am too damn tired to look.
Is this the card you can buy Disney tickets with.
