Citi ThankYou Points Sharing Will End Soon
Citi is informing ThankYou credit card holders that it will soon end its Point Sharing feature.
Effective May 17, 2026, Points Sharing will no longer be offered as a ThankYou Rewards redemption option. You can see the details of this change here.
Points Sharing is a ThankYou® Rewards feature that allows you to share your qualifying ThankYou points to another ThankYou member by sharing points from your ThankYou Account to the recipient’s ThankYou Account.
If you plan on sharing points before this feature is removed, keep in mind that shared points received are valid 90 days from the date received. There is also a limit of 100,000 points that you can receive or send to another cardholder.
You should still be able to pool points between your own credit card accounts, but after May 17 you will no longer be able to share them with others.
