Citi Spending Offers

Citi Spending Offers

Citi has sent out spending offers to cardholders where you can earn bonus points for online spending, 10X for groceries or 10% cash back for travel purchases. These offers are usually sent out by mail or email. Let’s see the details.

The Offers

There are two different offers available that I have seen so far:

  • Use your Citi Mastercard to earn 10X ThankYou points per dollar, up to 10,000 points each month between April 1 and 06/30/2021 on eligible purchases of $100 or more at:
    • Gas Sations
    • Grocery Stores
    • Restaurants
  • Use your card to earn 10% back as a statement credit, up to $25, through 06/30/2021 on eligible purchases you make at:
    • Airlines
    • Hotels
    • Travel Agencies
  • Use your card to earn 5X ThankYou points per dollar, up to 2,500 points, through 06/30/2021 on eligible online purchases.

Key Terms

  • Must register for the offer by 6/27/2021
  • Completed online purchases by 06/30/2021

Conclusion

Earning 10% back for travel purchases, or 5X ThankYou points for any online purchase is a good deal, even if limited to just $250. Those who have a Citi Mastercard are once again seeing the best offers with the possibility to earn a total of 30,000 Thank You points.
