Citi Spending Offers, Earn Up to 10X on Select Travel Purchases

Citi has sent out spending offers to cardholders. You can earn 10% cash back or 10% points on select travel purchases through the end of the year. The offers seem to be available for most Citi cards, including cashback, ThankYou Points and AA miles. Let’s take a look at the details.

The Offers

Here are two offers that we have received on our Citi Premier cards here at Miles to Memories:

• Earn 10% back in statement credits, up to $25, through 12/31/2021. Eligible purchases include:
  • Airlines
  • Hotels
  • Travel Agencies
• Earn an additional 3 points per $1 spent, for a total of 6 points per $1 spent, through 12/31/2021. Eligible purchases include:
  • Hotel bookings through the ThankYou Travel Center
  • Car Rental bookings through the ThankYou Travel Center

Key Terms

• Must register for the offer by 11/15/2021
• Completed online purchases by 12/31/2021

Conclusion

Earning 10x or 10% cash back on these purchases is a good deal, even if limited to just 2,500 points or $25 in total cash back.

For the second offer, you need to book through the ThankYou Travel Center and you only get 6X points. But there is no limit on how many points you can earn.
