Daily Getaways Week 1 Begins

Here’s some upcoming travel deals for this week, through Daily Getaways, ranging from car rentals and hotel discounts, to cheap park tickets. Let’s take a look.

The Offers

Analysis

The first offer that starts today at 1PM ET can give you a nice discount on car rentals. Be ready though, because Daily Getaways is only selling 2,000 of these $50 certificates for $25. They usually go fast. Must use the certificate in full and it can’t be applied ti taxes and fees.

Tuesday we’ll have some hotel deals. They seem a bit pricey but, they usually go for more. Compare prices and see if you’re getting a good deal.

Wednesday you’ll have a few offers for buying IHG points, but it’s not really worth it. The best rate is when you buy 100,000 points for $589, or 0.589 cents per point. You can even do better during their 100% bonus points offers.

And to finish this week off you have discounts as SeaWorld, Busch Gardens, and a night at any Wyndham for $175. The Busch Gardens and SeaWorld deals are really good if you plan to visit those parks. Generally you won’t find a discount nearly as big if trying to buy tickets.

Conclusion

The best offer is probably today, so jump on that early. If you’re into theme parks then Thursday is your day. Some might find the hotel deals useful and most will probably skip the IHG offers. Just check the terms for each offer before purchasing.

  1. hey bro. not sure wat you mean on the IHG. you said the best rate is when you buy 100,000 points for $589, or 0.589 cents per point? Its actually 130k for $749 @ 0.576.

but anyway, yea you can do better during their 100% bonus points offers if you max out 120k points $690 @ 0.575 cents per IHG Rewards Club point. what does this mean? it means if ur buying at 100% bonus then its still pretty much worth it to by during DD if you have huge pt needs in the near term.

60k is max annual directly thru IHG but here, you can buy 3 packages and it does NOT count towards that 60k limit. so that means you can buy 4 total packages. so you can rack up huge pts if the math makes sense.
