‘Tis the season of deals. A lot of great stuff came across my desk and I wanted to share it with you. I know at least one of these deals should interest you, but probably a lot more!

Free $10 eBay Gift Cards with $100 eBay Gift Card

deal roundup

eGifter is a company that sells eGift cards. Makes sense huh? Anyway, they are offering a $10 bonus eBay eGift card with the purchase of a $100 eGift card. I haven’t used them before today, but I was able to successfully purchase a $100 card and confirm the deal works as promised. There is a limit of one bonus per person. You can find the full details here.

Backdoor Link for the Amazon Amex Offer

deal roundup

This morning Frequent Miler tipped me off to a backdoor link that exists for the Amazon Amex Offer. If you didn’t get it on your card or weren’t able to register all of your cards, then you can click this link, login and all of your cards linked to that login should be loaded with the offer. If you are getting an error, there are some helpful comments in this Quick Deal I wrote on Frequent Miler.

Kroger 4X on Fuel Points

deal roundup

Kroger and its subsidiary brands are offering 4X fuel points on gift cards through December 8, 2015. This applies to almost all gift cards except for variable load cards. You can find the full terms and exclusions here.

The highest denomination cards they sell here are $100 Visas, so what I have done in the past is purchase 5 of them during similar sales. This amounts to $2 off per gallon of gas ($1 per gallon for each of two trips with a limit of 35 gallons each trip.) Since each card costs $5.95, you are getting up to $70 worth of gas for $30 plus credit card rewards.

Living Social 20% Off

deal roundup

Through tomorrow, Living Social is offering 20% off with the code ENJOY20. I didn’t see this code advertised on the front page, but it was sent to me. It is good through 11:59 Pacific on 11/20 and works on just about everything. Don’t forget to use a portal to save even more!

Newegg eBay Gift Cards – Combine with Amex Offer

deal roundup

Newegg currently has a very popular Amex Offer (tweet #AmexNewegg) that is giving $25 back on purchases of $200+. One of the more popular things to purchase are eBay gift cards since those can be used for other gift cards and deals. This deal basically works out to be a 12.5% discount on those cards. Not bad at all. You can also try a portal, but gift cards are excluded. Splender is currently paying 2%, so that is the portal I tried.

Unfortunately I don’t think Newegg likes so many eBay card purchases (or there is a quota), because they keep disappearing from the site. The good news is that all denominations are once again available as of the time of posting! There is a limit of 2 per customer. (I believe the limit resets every 24 hours.) I bought 2 X $200 cards in separate purchases to trigger two offers.

Conclusion

Five really good deals for today! The deals seem to be coming hot and heavy as we get closer to Black Friday and Cyber Monday. As always I’ll make sure to bring the best ones to you! Have a great evening!

  1. EGifter is considered a small business in NY and my eBay gift card purchases were qualified for Amex small business credits. Who would have known?

  2. New Egg has paid out before on AA portal for gift cards…and that would put you into the holiday bonus for them!

  3. Shawn –

Although you *might* get lucky Splender states in their T&C’s:

“Not eligible on gift cards, gift certificates or any other similar cash equivalents.”
