Offer for Delta Reserve Personal Card Is Even Better Via Referral

American Express launched some increased offers for their Delta cards yesterday.  Many of these are the best we have ever seen for the cards.  But for one of them it looks like the offer gets even better if you use a refer a friend link, the Delta Reserve personal card.

Details

The public offer for the Delta Reserve personal card is for the follows:

  • Earn 75,000 bonus miles and 5,000 Medallion Qualification Miles after spending $5,000 within your first 3 months.
  • $450 Annual fee is not waived

But if you get the offer via a referral the offer is:

  • Earn 75,000 Bonus Miles and 10,000 Medallion Qualification Miles (MQMs) after you make $5,000 in purchases on your new Card in your first 3 months.
  • You can also earn a $100 Statement Credit after you make a Delta purchase with your new Card within your first 3 months.
  • $450 Annual fee is not waived

Remember that you can refer yourself to this offer if you currently have another Delta card or non Hilton Amex card.

My Thoughts

This card isn’t for everyone because of the large annual fee but the $100 credit helps out some.  It also comes with only Delta Lounge access where something like the Amex Platinum comes with Delta plus Centurion and Priority Pass lounge membership (although not as good as it used to be).

But if you are in the need for some Delta Skymiles or only need Delta lounge access at a discount then this is hard to beat!  The 75K is also as high as we have seen.

    • You can just email it to yourself on the Amex refer a friend link or copy the link and plug it into a new browser or tab.

      • Thank you, Mark! You are always so gracious and prompt in your replies.
On my referral choices I only seem to have the cards I already have.

        • Any time!

Just use whichever card has the best payout for the referral. Then once you get the link and click through if you look at the top it says click here for more referral cards. That will get you to Delta cards. Hilton ones won’t work but everything else should.
