Check Delta SkyMiles Accounts for a 10K Bonus
Delta Air Lines passengers have suffered delays and cancellations during their summer travels, just like many other travelers on other airlines around the country and the world. Staffing shortages and increased travel demand continue to make air travel much more difficult than usual.
Delta even offered customers free ticket changes during the busy 4th of July weekend, even waiving the fare difference. Now the airline is also sending out miles to select SkyMiles members who might have been affected by delays and cancellations this summer.
Delta is calling this a a “Summer Goodwill Gesture”, and if you get lucky, you might see an extra 10,000 miles in your SkyMiles account. Here’s the full text of the email that was sent out today:
We apologize for our recent and significant travel disruptions you experienced with us this summer. While we cannot recover the time lost and anxiety caused, we are automatically depositing 10K miles to your SkyMiles® account as a commitment to do better for you going forward and restore the Delta Difference you know we are capable of.
We treat every flight as an opportunity for us to make returning to the skies an enjoyable experience. That’s not just what we do, it’s what we believe – and we intend to deliver on that commitment on your future travels.
Conclusion
This email is probably going out to customers who have suffered Delta cancellations or delays recently. Check your accounts and let us know if you have received anything.

10,000 SkyPesos ar eworth about $1.78. Would rather they gave back the $20 billion in grift they got from US taxpayers to take the burden off my children and grandchildren.
