New Centurion Lounge Will Open at Denver International Airport
Yesterday American Express announced plans to expand its airport lounge network, The Centurion Lounge, with the introduction of a new location at Denver International Airport. We had already heard rumors about this new lounge after some building plans were revealed, but there’s now official confirmation of the new Denver Centurion Lounge.
Lounge Details
The DEN lounge will be the company’s second largest after its upcoming location at New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport. It will occupy 14,650 square feet in the C Concourse, according to Denver City Council documents. It is estimated to open in 2019.
Business Insider reports that The Centurion Lounge at DEN will offer sweeping airfield views as well as special amenities and design elements unique to this location. It will feature the exceptional amenities found across all Centurion Lounge locations including complimentary food and beverages from top chefs, mixologists, and wine specialists, a family room, premium restrooms and shower suites, access to high-speed Wi-Fi, noise-buffering work spaces and more.
Amex Platinum Cardholders are entitled to bring in up to 2 guests for free. Check out this post for more info and background on the guest policy. Additional guest passes can be purchased for $50.

Conclusion
Denver is one of the busiest airports in the country, so it makes sense for American Express to add a Centurion Lounge there. It ranks as 6th busiest US airport by total passenger boardings. The Denver Centurion Lounge should be great news for those based in and around Denver but also for man others transiting through the airport.
