Which Credit Cards Offer Rideshare Benefits With Uber And Lyft?

Details of Extended Chase/Lyft Partnership

Lyft and Chase announced today that they will extend their five year partnership through September 30, 2027.

The Chase/Lyft partnership has already been extremely popular, with cardmembers taking over 200 million Lyft rides since launch – a number consistently growing year-over-year.

The partnership extension comes with some positive and negative changes. Starting April 1, 2025, Chase Sapphire Reserve cardmembers will receive 5x total points (instead of 10X) on Lyft rides, but they also get up to $120 in Lyft credits each year.

Cardmembers who hold Chase Sapphire Preferred®, Chase Freedom®, Freedom Unlimited®, Freedom Student®, and Ink cards will continue to receive points multipliers or cash back when they ride with Lyft. However, the rate for Freedom cardholders is going from 5X to 2X.

Benefits by Card

Starting April 1, 2025, cardmembers will automatically earn the new benefits. More information can be found at lyft.com/chase.
