Dial Soap Class Action Settlement, Claim Your Rebate if Eligible

A $7.4 million class action settlement has been reached that would resolve numerous Dial soap class action lawsuits.

The lawsuit alleges that the Defendant violated certain laws in the marketing, advertising and sale of Dial Complete Foaming Liquid Hand Soap in the United States based on the use of the active ingredient triclosan and advertising claims including that Dial Complete “Kills 99.99% of Germs encountered in household settings” and the use of the phrase “Number 1 Doctor Recommended Antibacterial Liquid Hand Wash”, and the claim that it “Kills more germs than any other liquid hand soap”. This is a major brand, so many people should qualify for a rebate.

Settlement Claim

Who Qualifies

All U.S. consumers who bought Dial Complete Foaming Liquid Hand Soap between Jan. 1, 2001 and Jan. 2, 2019.

Class Members are able to claim 27¢ per package, up to 30 packages, without proof of purchase, which amounts to $8.10. If you do have proof of purchase, you can claim even more packages, but I doubt many people will have their receipts from 2001.

Deadline to file a claim is on 4/12/2019.

Conclusion

This is a well known brand and a product that probably many people have used. If you know you have used the products, then file a claim before the deadline.
