Key Terms

  • Valid November 05, 2017 – November 11, 2017
  • Limit 2 offers per customer.

Conclusion

These are some decent discounts for personal use. You’re limited to only two offers per account and these are small denominations. The Visa Gift card deal is not really interesting  since you need to purchase two $200 VGCs to get $6 back, which doesn’t even cover the activation fee.

If you have an Amex Old Blue Cash card you could also get an extra 5% back on pharmacy purchases.

  1. I’ve the Amex old Blue for Business (got in when the offer was 2x MR on all purchases in the first year + 30% bonus at the end of the first year), and in addition 1x bonus MR on Rite Aid purchases. So total of 3.3x MR.

    Doing the Vanilla Visa offer:
    4x $200 VGC = $800 + $27.80 = $827.80

    I’ll get back:
    1200 Plenti points = $12
2732 MR points = however much you value them but certainly more than $15.80

Planning to hold the cards till my folks come from overseas, then give it to them to spend.

  2. Last time I was at Rite Aid and tried to be a VGC with a credit card, the answer was no. Is this local policy? Corporate policy?
