Club Wyndham has a new timeshare offer. These are offers that require you to attend a timeshare presentation, which in this case is two hours. In return you get a cheap stay at a Wyndham property and bonus points. This offer gives you a bonus of 30,000 points for select destinations, and prices start from $199 for 3 nights. Let’s see the details.
The Offer
Book a 3-night stay from $199 and earn up to 30,000 Wyndham Rewards Points. Attending a two hour timeshare presentation is required. Eligible destinations include:
- Orlando, FL
- $199 for 3-night stay and 30,000 Wyndham Rewards Points bonus
- Stay at Wyndham Lake Buena Vista, Wyndham Garden – Disney Springs/Lake Buena Vista or a comparable local hotel.
- Destin, FL
- $199 for 3-night stay and 30,000 Wyndham Rewards Points bonus
- Stay at Hyatt Place Sandestin, Sundestin Beach Resort or a comparable local hotel.
- North Myrtle Beach, SC
- $199 for 3-night stay and 30,000 Wyndham Rewards Points bonus

Conclusion
This is a pretty good offer as Wyndham Rewards are quite valuable. 30,000 points are easily worth more than $300 so you are getting back more than what you are paying for your 3-night stay. Even if you choose one of the destinations that cost $249, you are still coming out ahead.
Once you purchase one of the packages, you then have 12 months to actually book your stay. It might be worth asking for something extra as well if you call. You can also ask about different destinations. I have not tried this Wyndham, but I would guess it works the same way.

If you accept the invitation, always remember these points:
– Right up front, always insist that you will not sign up for the presentation unless you can buy at least two timeshares as just one is not enough.
– You want uncapped annual maintenance fees since because, if the fees go up, they must be making the place even better.
– Your Marriott worldwide employee discount means little to you (“its just not vacation ownership”).
– And finally, tell them you will be back to purchase next week as your “AMEX Centurion card is at it’s limit”.
Just be aware, there is a chance they will not take you seriously and you may miss your opportunity to purchase a timeshare from them (my experience in Puerto Vallarta supports this).
