Through 4PM today, eBay is running a flash sale giving $15 off of a single $75+ purchase. This should stack with portal cashback and eBay Bucks as well.

How to Redeem

  1. Shop for eligible items.
  2. Pay for your item with PayPal.
  3. Enter the Coupon code in the redemption code field: CPREP4SCHOOL16.

  • The Coupon is for a $15 discount off a minimum purchase of $75, valid until 4:00 PM PT on August 20, 2016.
  • Discount applies to the purchase price (excluding shipping, handling, and taxes) of eligible items on eBay.com.

How to Maximize

This discount is good on almost everything on eBay. While gift cards are excluded, you can generally purchase $60 in gift cards and then get $15 of free items from an unrestricted category. Just about all merchandise is unrestricted which is nice compared to similar deals. You can also use iConsumer for even more cashback or the AAdvantage portal back to school bonus.

Update: The coupon doesn’t seem to be working with gift cards quite the same way as before. Check the comments for the latest on how it is being treated.

Sooner Rather Than Later

In the past flash sales have reached their capacity before the published expiration time, although that hasn’t always been the case. Either way, I will probably be buying my stuff now, just in case it maxes out in the afternoon.

    • I’m looking. Stuff for personal use. Didn’t have a lot of time to dedicate to this one today, but I have found a few things I need that are already priced well before the discount.

  2. You only get 20% off your regular items when adding a gift card – not the full $15 off unless it is $75 in merch

    • That’s not exactly correct. You get a prorated amount. For example, if you buy $25 of regular items and $50+ of gc you will get 33.3% of $15 off ($5 off). If you buy something for exactly $15 then you will get 20% of $15 off ($3). Ebay has finally smartened up.
