eBay has a couple of Labor Day deals that may be of interest. Let’s take a look.
PayPal Digital Gifts & 5X
PayPal Digital Gifts has a few gift cards on sale today. Purchasing these cards should generate 5X Ultimate Rewards points if you pay with a Chase Ink Plus/Cash card through PayPal.

Not As Good As Before
In the past, you would be able to also earn portal cashback and eBay Bucks while purchasing gift cards. Unfortunately those avenues have dried up. Most/All portals no longer pay out in the gift cards category and eBay Bucks are no longer earned when purchasing them.

Selling the Cards
Darden & Petco would be good mostly for personal use, while the Best Buy cards could be slightly profitable or breakeven depending on your bulk relationships. I personally bought some Best Buy gift cards since I can sell them and keep the 5X points generated.
eBay Bucks 8%
In addition to the gift card deals, eBay is running an eBay Bucks promotion for targeted accounts. While you can’t earn eBay Bucks on gift cards, most other merchandise does earn the rewards. If you were targeted you will receive 6% on items up to $25 and 8% on items $25 or more. You can activate the promotion here.

Do you actually get a $165 best buy card, or is it a $150 card and then a separate $15 card?
It is actually a $150 Best Buy card and then a seperate $15 Ebay card should come the following day (time frame in the past)

Shawn assuming you have family members that let you order on their behalf. How do you get around the pesky PayPal SMS verification for more than one account? I can’t imagine having more than 2 phones and google voice won’t receive them as far as I’m aware. Any tips?
