Expedia Sale Was a Mistake
This morning I shared an Expedia deal over at Frequent Miler. The deal gave up to $200 off of hotel bookings with no minimum spend requirement. Generous isn’t it?
Well, apparently too generous. Not only is the deal now dead, but Expedia has sent me an email explaining what happened. According to the email, the codes “were mistakenly made at Expedia”. This indicates that the entire promotion was a mistake.
I’m not sure what happened, but there was an entire terms and conditions page. Perhaps they meant to add a minimum spending requirement and failed to do so. No further explanation was given.
Will They Honor
Hopefully they will honor all of the bookings made with the code, but don’t hold your breath. Based on how widespread this deal was shared and the language of the email, my guess is they will try to cancel bookings.
Did you get in on the Expedia deal? Let me know in the comments and let us know if your booking gets cancelled!
