Alaska Airlines and Southwest are running sales with low fares starting from $39 and $49 respectively. You only have until tomorrow to book these discounted Alaska flights, but Southwest is giving you more time. Let’s check out these deals and see the terms.

Alaska Sale

Alaska’s fare sale runs Aug. 3-5 with discounted flights across its network for travel dates between Sept. 7 – Nov.17 and Nov. 30 – Dec. 15, 2021. The system-wide fare sale includes deals across Alaska’s network, including many of the 50 new routes added since March 2020. You can book on Alaska’s website.

  • $59 SeattleSan Diego
  • $69 SeattleLas Vegas
  • $99 San JoseMaui, Hawaii
  • $149 PortlandLihue, Hawaii
  • $149 Seattle– Kona, Hawaii

Keep in mind that the airline permanently eliminated change fees for fares purchased on or after May 1, 2021.

Southwest Sale

Southwest is offering fares as low as $49 across the country right now as part of its latest promotion. You must book by August 12 at 11:59 pm CT, and travel between August 24 and December 16, 2021. Some blackout dates apply.

Sample one-way fares include:

  • $49 Atlanta – Sarasota
  • $49 Charleston – Nashville
  • $49 Fresno – Las Vegas
  • $49 Jackson – Houston
  • $49 Los Angeles – Phoenix
  • $49 Las Vegas – Palm Springs
  • $49 Salt Lake City – Denver
  • $49 San Francisco – Burbank

These fares are nonrefundable. But you can receive credit to apply to any future travel with the airline. You just need to cancel at least 10 minutes prior to your scheduled departure time.
