Fight Breaks Out on American Airlines Flight Over Face Masks
American Airline is in the news once again over passengers refusing to wear a face mask. This latest incident shows a fight breaking out between passengers on an American Airlines flight as it was waiting to depart. The incident was caught on video and apparently it started when one traveler refused to comply with the airline’s new face mask policy.
The new American Airlines policy requires all customers over the age of 2 to wear face coverings at airports and on board. It went into effect on July 29, 2020 and it does not allow for exemptions for those over 2 years old.
On this specific American Airlines flight from from Las Vegas to Charlotte, a passenger reportedly refused to follow the policy after boarding. When they were asked to leave the plane, the traveler reportedly became disruptive and an altercation with other passengers broke out. The passenger left after authorities were called.
An American Airlines spokesperson gave Fox News the following statement:
On Monday, a customer on American Airlines Flight 1665 with service from Las Vegas to Charlotte failed to comply with our mandatory face-covering policy after boarding the aircraft prior to departure. In accordance with our policy, the customer was subsequently asked to leave the aircraft and became disruptive, resulting in an altercation with other passengers.

Its a cramped packed sardine can. the mask isnt doing anything folks.
Is it just me, or do most of these issues seem to happen on American? Not sure if that speaks to the reporting or to the type of people flying American.
Greyhound bus with wings. The modern flying experience: nothing more, nothing less than a urban mass transit bus of the skies.
Mind your own business and nobody gets hurt. It’s not a passenger’s responsibility to confront another passenger. Too many former high school monitors trying to flex these days. That gets you hurt where I come from.
This is why we can’t have nice things, like normality in our lives. Coz stupid people just don’t give a f the pandemic dragging on for as long as possible.
If airlines really thought it was a pandemic, then why don’t they have you distance 6 ft. Oh, could it be about the money? Doubt they care about your health!!
