First Chase Sapphire Lounge Welcoming Guests at Hong Kong Airport
Chase announced earlier this year that it has plans to open a total of nine Chase Sapphire Lounges. We only know six locations so far, with five of them in the US and one in Hong Kong.
And now Chase has finally opened the doors to its first Chase Sapphire Lounge by the Club at Hong Kong International Airport Terminal 1. The grand opening took place October 25th, local time.
The 11,948 square foot lounge is located on level 7 near gate 40, in the West Hall of the International Departures area. Passengers departing from the East Hall can access the lounge via shuttle or a 15 minute walk. Initially, the lounge will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. local time, but hours will be extended later on.
The Sapphire Lounge takes over the space of the previous The Club lounge that was there. Chase Sapphire lounges are built and operated in partnership with Airport Dimensions.
Guests can find amenities like seasonal dining options, craft cocktails, local beers, curated wine list and more. You can order your food and beverages digitally. The lounge also has complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi and access to media and entertainment.
Sapphire Lounge Locations and Access
The Hong Kong Sapphire lounge is the first one to open more than a year after these lounges were first announced. We know the location of 5 upcoming lounges, and there are three more down the line that have yet to be announced. The next Chase Sapphire Lounge opening will come sometime in 2023.
The five other locations include:
- Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) Terminal B to C Connector
- Las Vegas’ Harry Reid International Airport (LAS) Concourse C
- NYC LaGuardia Airport (LGA) Terminal B
- Phoenix Airport (PHX) Terminal 4
- San Diego International (SAN) Terminal 2 West
Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club is open to Chase Sapphire Reserve cardmembers, as well as Priority Pass members. Chase Sapphire Preferred members will not have access to Chase Sapphire Lounges.
