On this week’s MtM Vegas we have so much to talk about including Celine canceling her upcoming shows at Resorts World and Marriott pulling out of Fontainebleau. The big news this week is that Celine Dion has pulled out of her residency at Resorts World Las Vegas. We’ll discuss what happened and what it means for current ticketholders. Plus we also learned that Marriott is officially cutting ties with Fontainebleau Las Vegas. What does it mean for the future of that project and how did we get here?

In other news the Area 15 entertainment complex is building a 131 foot tall outdoor sky bar with 360 degree views of the Strip. It looks amazing and won’t break the bank. Plus Las Vegas sportsbooks had their worst Sunday in 35 years recently, Formula 1 may be coming back to Vegas, Bobby Flay is opening two more burger places and DIck’s Last Resort is charging a terrible fee to customers.

  1. Fountainbleau is an example of a project created inside a bubble, when everyone thought Vegas casino hotels were easy. Similar to when Boyd taked big about Echelon. Big timers that were way over their heads.
