You Can Get 4 More Free COVID-19 Tests Next Week
The White House gave out 4 free at-home COVID-19 tests to every household in January. But only about half of the 500 million tests have been claimed so far, so now another round of free test will be available for those who want them.
Starting next week, you’ll be able to order four more free COVID-19 tests from the US government, through USPS. Currently, residential households in the U.S. can order 4 free at-home tests on USPS.com. Starting next week, you can place a second order (for a total of 8 free at-home tests per household).
Here’s what you need to know about your order:
- Each order includes 4 individual rapid antigen COVID-19 tests
- Orders will ship free
- Starting next week, limit of 2 orders per residential address
To order your four free tests, you ca go to the USPS website, fill out your name and address, and click “Check Out Now.” Your tests will ship for free and you don’t need to enter any payment information. If you’ve never placed an order before, you will be able to place two separate orders, of 4 free tests each.
The the USPS doesn’t list a specific date when the second round of tests will be available. So just keep checking the website next week to see when they become available.
