Gift Cards, Free Shipping & Christmas Markets
In an effort to shake off the post-Christmas blues, here are a few interesting items I found on this 26th day of December. Enjoy!
Card Cash/Walmart Gift Card Exchange Analyzed
The other day I wrote about the new service from Card Cash and Walmart where you can sell other merchants gift cards in exchange for a Walmart eGift card.
Well the service has now launched and you can head over to their site to find out what exchange rates you will get for your unwanted gift cards.
For a deeper analysis, Doctor of Credit looked at the service and also took a stab at the buying and reselling angle. Definitely worth a look.
Cheap or Free Shop Your Max Membership
Frequent Miler is reporting that Sears has a targeted offer for their Shop Your Way Max free shipping program. Some members are being offered the service for $9.99 a year and others for free. (The normal price is $39 a year.)
Both my wife and I have Shop Your Way accounts. My wife wasn’t offered anything on her account and I was offered 180 days for free instead of a year. I took it!
Christmas Markets of Europe
Finally, it has always been my dream to visit Europe during Christmas. For some reason the idea of walking the streets of Paris on Christmas has always sounded romantic to me.
Of course another huge reason to visit Europe during this time of year is the Christmas markets that are held in various cities across the continent.
Drew at Travel is Free is in Europe right now and has posted about his experiences at various Christmas markets in Austria, Poland, Czech Republic, Belgium, Netherlands and more! Definitely take a look!
Conclusion
I hope everyone had a great Christmas and a wonderful holiday season. Now on to the new year!
