I enjoy reading articles explaining how to book a trip in a different way, even if it is a trip I never plan on taking. It gives me ideas for other trips. But if you had this trip on your bucket list it overs a nice alternative to the typical, overpriced, tour trip.
As MoviePass Explodes, Its Growing Pains Hurt Subscribers – Wired
MoviePass has been in the news a lot lately. From their CEO saying he has been creeping on users, to their second price reduction in as many months there has been a lot going on. This article discusses the fact that with MoviePass’ meteoric rise that they have been on their customer service is basically non existent. They have shut down users accounts without warning, removed theaters from the program without advanced notice, and are taking months to get cards shipped to new subscribers. It seems like they are aware of the issues but they don’t seem to be taking any meaningful action. Bank of America $42 million settlement over ‘masking’ electronic trading activities – CNBC
Bank of America is in the lawsuit news again, this time for misleading customers of their Merrill Lynch investing department. They lead customers to believe that their investments were handled in house when in reality they were handled by outside firms. An investment company that doesn’t actually trade for you, what a novel concept. Kind of like those dry cleaners that ship your clothing out to other dry cleaners to be cleaned…
