There’s a new Frontier fare sale where they are quoting prices at (up to) 90% off base fares. You need to use promo code SAVE90 when booking to get the discount. You need to book by tomorrow and travel between 4/4 – 5/16/2018 in order to get the discount.

The key information for the offer is as follows:
- Tickets must be purchased by 11:59 pm Eastern time on Mar. 23, 2018
- Valid for nonstop domestic travel, Tuesdays and Wednesdays, Apr. 4, 2018 through May 16, 2018.
- The 90% discount applies to base fare only, not to fees or taxes, and requires purchase at FlyFrontier.com using promo code SAVE90.

Conclusion
A pretty good offer from Frontier but even though the sale is promoted as ‘90% off’, the discount only applies to the base fare. That means that it won’t really result in a 90% total discount. But, it should still yield some good prices, especially on the more expensive tickets. As usual, there’s also a long list of excluded markets for this offer.
Just keep in mind that any extras will cost you with Frontier, as it’s the case with most budget airlines.

As I wrote on Flyertalk today, there are some mind-boggling cheap fares on Frontier with this offer.
Many flights are under $20. Nobody else offers fares like this in America these days, so if you have great flexibility and wait for their sales, you can fly for almost nothing. You obviously do have to limit yourself to a “personal item” to make their fares work (and buy nothing else from them, like a seat assignment), but that’s not hard to do for a short, discretionary trip. I suspect they’re not more popular in frequent flyer circles because most of the blogs are all about expensive, fancy travel, and Frontier is anything but that. As long as your flight doesn’t get cancelled (a small but meaningful risk), you’re generally fine with them.
