Frontier Expands at New York-JFK
Low cost carrier Frontier Airlines revealed this week that it will soon launch three new routes from New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK).
The new routes will start this spring with daily nonstop service to Miami International Airport (MIA) which will launch on March 30. Then on April 22, nonstop service to Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) will begin, operating four times per week. On May 1, the airline will launch daily nonstop service to Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).
With these new routes, Frontier will serve eight destinations from JFK, accelerating the airline’s growth from the airport since it first began operating there in June 2024. To celebrate these new destinations, the airline is offering fares as low as $19.
Fares must be purchased by 11:59 pm Eastern time on Jan. 13, 2024 directly at FlyFrontier.com. Fares are valid for non-stop travel on select days of week through Aug. 18, 2025. The following blackout dates apply: Apr. 18-21, 2025; May 22-23, 26, 2025; Jun. 28-29, 2025; Jul. 3, 5-6, 2025. Round trip purchase is not required to take advantage of these low intro fares.
“This is an exciting day for consumers as we once again expand our offerings at JFK,” said Josh Flyr, vice president of network and operations design, Frontier Airlines. “With the launch of these ultra-low fare flights to Miami, Dallas and Los Angeles, we are increasing the availability of affordable travel to top destinations for New Yorkers, as well as making a New York adventure or business trip that much more affordable for budget-savvy consumers across the United States.”
