Game Of Thrones Pop Up Bar In Chicago Until March 3rd

If you are a huge fan of the Game of Thrones show, who isn’t, then you may be in luck.  Waiting for the final season to kick off has been a killer but you can get your GoT fix in Chi-town.  Replay Lincoln Park is hosting a pop up bar in Chicago.  The video game arcade bar has had pop ups in the past but nothing quite like this. They are even offering VIP access tickets that allow you to skip the line for $21.97 out the door.

Details

The pop up is being run and designed by Pop Up Squad and they will be dividing the bar into 7 different areas from the show.  The areas will include:

  • Dothraki camp
  • Meereen
  • High Garden
  • Braavos
  • Kings Landing
  • Winter Fell
  • The Wall at Castle Black

The bar is open to the general public everyday. The hours are 5pm-2am weekdays, 3pm-2am Friday and at 12pm-2am on weekends.  The VIP access ticket comes with a commemorative print, express entry anytime, for the date purchased. You also get 1 glass of Ommegang King in the North or Queen of the Seven Kingdoms served in commemorative goblet. I would say the VIP ticket is the way to go.  Here is a link to some more photos Replay Lincoln Park has shared on their Facebook page.

Conclusion

I love when people do pop ups like this.  Chicago had another interesting one not too long ago for Saved By The Bell fans.  You could dine at a The Max replica.  If I was going to be in Chicago over the next few weeks I would make a point to stop by for sure.  If anyone has checked it out yet or plans to let me know in the comments.
