Amex Platinum Cardholders Can Get MtM Diamond Free Till June With PayPal Credit

American Express rolled out a pretty rewarding credit for personal Platinum cardholders this year. The offer revolves completely around PayPal. This was in an effort to replace the popular $20 streaming and cell service credits they launched last year because of the pandemic.  The PayPal credit works on most PayPal purchases and you will get a credit on anything up to $30.  This can be in one or multiple charges each month.  One good way to use your PayPal credit could be joining our MtM Diamond community.  The cost is $10 per month and Patreon offers PayPal as a payment option.  So you could essentially sign up and get it “free” until July if you have an Amex Platinum card.

New Discounted Yearly Option

We also just added a yearly subscription option that knocks 10% off the price vs month to month.  You could use the full $30 PayPal credit towards this cost bringing the out of pocket cost to $6.50 per month for 12 months.

What Is The MtM Diamond Lounge?

We create tons of content at Miles to Memories. It’s all designed to inspire you to save money, travel and generally live a better life. For those who enjoy our content and want to get more involved, we have formed the MtM Diamond community! Our Diamond supporters ($10 per month) get a ton of perks and bonus podcasts, videos & other content produced every single week.

They get backstage access to some of our podcast recordings and we have two online communities (Facebook & Discord) where we teach each other and share our frustrations, questions and wins! We have limited space, but if a fun positive community is what you are looking for then check it out!

Show Schedule

You can take a look at the show schedule on our MtM Diamond calendar. Everything is offered as a live recording where you can join in on the discussion or you can watch the video later. We also release all recordings in podcast format as well. However you like consuming content it is available to you.

In our weekly shows we cover spending, award bookings, members tips and tricks and a chance to interact with everyone along the way.  We are also looking into adding yet another unique show at some point later this year. This all adds up to two unique shows / events exclusively for Diamond members every single week.

Meet Ups

Once the world begins to normalize we plan to do quarterly meet ups for the group members.  We would like to mix in some international destinations, as well as, domestic options.  These will be a mix of social only gatherings and events with presentations etc. We are starting to plan some for the fall of 2021 and are currently taking group suggestions on locations.

Contests & Giveaways

We like to do group specific contests and giveaways on a regular basis as well.  It could be as simple as getting a $10 Member Spot Bonus for sharing a great tip or being helpful with someone in the group. Or a $25 gift card for participating in the Diamond Spotlight show.  We even did giveaways for great Prime Day finds and winners of our Zoom chat games etc. There are plenty of opportunities out there to offset your membership cost 😉.

Final Thoughts

If you had considered joining in the past but were hesitant, and you have an Amex Platinum card, then now is a chance to try it before you buy it so to speak.  Think of this as a social club for miles and points fanatics.  It is a good way to connect with others in the hobby and learn some new things along the way.  Hopefully we see you in there!
