Southwest Airlines is once again offering an easy option to earn the Companion pass for just over a year. It comes as part of the signup offer for all three consumer credit cards, alongside a points bonus that varies between 20,000 and 40,000.

- Earn Companion Pass through 2/28/2027 plus 40,000 points after you spend $5,000 on purchases in the first 3 months from account opening.

- Cardmembers and up to 8 additional passengers in the same reservation can check their first bag at no additional cost. For a group of 4 this would be a savings of up to $280 roundtrip ($35 per bag per trip).
- 4X points on Southwest Airlines eligible purchases, previously 3X points
- 2X points at gas stations and restaurants, with no annual cap
