Hertz has launched a new promotion that lets you gift elite status to friends and family. For a limited time, you can share your President’s Circle or Five Star status with anyone. Let’s check the details.

The Offer

Gift your current Five Star or President’s Circle member status to one friend, family member or colleague for free up to June, 30th, 2022! Must gift by December 15, 2021. Then you’ll both enjoy faster, easier rental experiences when you:

  • Skip the counter and go straight to your cars
  • Choose from a wide selection of cars
  • Enjoy car-class upgrades
  • Earn more points toward free days.

Key Terms

  • Offer available to active Hertz Five Star® and President’s Circle® members only.
  • Each member can grant status to one customer only.
  • Gifted status is available from 12/1/21 to 06/30/22.

Conclusion

This is a nice promotion if you have any friends or family members who might rent from Hertz in the coming months. If you are a current Five Star or President’s Circle member, it doesn’t cost you anything to gift the status to someone else.

If you recently got the new Capital One Venture X card, then you and any additional cardholders get free Hertz President’s Circle status.
