Hyatt Amex Offer

Hyatt Amex Offer

There is a new Hyatt Amex Offer out there.  I found it on my Amex Gold card.  I am extra excited for this one since I am staying at a Hyatt Regency this weekend and was planning on having a hefty food and bar bill. Let’s take a look at the offer.

Update 6/22/22:

More people have been targeted for this offer, myself included.

Hyatt Amex Offer Details

Get a one-time $60 statement credit by using your enrolled eligible Card to spend a minimum of $300 in one or more purchases on room rate and room charges when you pay for your stay with Hyatt Regency from 4/19/2022 to 7/18/2022.

Final Thoughts

Talk about perfect timing!  To have this come up days before my Hyatt Regency stay, pretty awesome. It is too bad this offer is limited to just the Hyatt Regency brands and limited to the US. I know quite a few people will meet that criteria by mid July though so be sure to check your offer. Even though it says it will only work on room rate in the past the offers have worked on billing things back to your room and if you buy a gift card at the front desk. Your mileage may vary this time around of course though.

Anyone else get lucky with this additional targeting? I’ll take 20% off the fun I’ll have this weekend every day and twice on Sunday!

  1. Great tip! Just used it for Hyatt andaz Napa. Paid in advance for a stay at the end of June which is totally refundable. Hope t
CA is COVID free by then…

  2. Hello
It is probably important to remind holders of the Hyatt credit card, that using an Amex will forgo the 4x points you would have received if you used the Hyatt credit card. Maybe Hyatt allows you to split the bill between 2 credit cards- that way you can put $300 on the Amex and the balance on the Hyatt. Once the bill gets to be around $800, its probably a better value to take the points. Am I missing something?

    • Depends. I received this offer on my Amex Green so I should get 3x MR plus the $60. I think I’ll take that! I’ll probably try to split the bill for the rest to hit my Chase Hyatt card if I can.

      • As Matt says I think it depends which card you get it on. I plan on booking a stay for as close to $300 as possible but I would think hotels would be able to work with you on the split payments if it goes above that.
