Hyatt to Debut the Andaz Brand in Florida
Hyatt Hotels is set to transform The Confidante Miami Beach into the new Andaz Miami Beach, scheduled to open in Q4 2024. Previously, the new hotel was set to open its doors in the first half of 2024.
Owned by Sunstone Hotel Investors, Inc., the hotel will undergo a complete renovation, temporarily suspending operations from March 25, 2024, until the project’s completion.
“We are thrilled to unveil this new chapter for Hyatt as our hotel becomes the Andaz Miami Beach, blending the essence of Miami Beach with the allure of imaginative travel to stimulate guests’ curiosity and self-expression,” said Amy Johnson, the general manager of Andaz Miami Beach. “This exciting journey brings the luxury lifestyle Andaz brand to Florida along with exciting collaborations like Jose Andres Group. We look forward to welcoming back our guests and local community to a completely new and bold hotel, embodying the distinctly native experience and expressive nature of the Andaz brand, while still capturing the essence of Miami Beach.”
The Andaz Miami Beach property aims to redefine guest experiences with a barrier-free lobby, redesigned pools, spa, inspiring accommodations, and immersive dining collaborations with José Andrés Group. They will offer three distinct dining experiences at the new Andaz property.
The hotel will also have the first ocean view check-in experience in Miami Beach and offer diverse event spaces, totaling 25,000 square feet.
