Hyatt to Open New Hotels in Early 2022
Hyatt Hotels announced on November 2nd the completion of the previously announced acquisition of Apple Leisure Group. ALG is a leading luxury resort-management services, travel and hospitality group.
But Hyatt has more developments slated for next year, including several new hotel openings across the globe. New properties are coming to Austin, Denver, Montreal, Jakarta, and Borneo.
The Thompson Austin is set to debut in early 2022. This is a 212-room hotel in downtown Austin, Texas with an edgy modern design that reflects the area’s entertainment and nightlife focus. Hyatt Centric Austin-Downtown/Congress Street is also slated to open in early 2022.
In Colorado, there’s another Thompson property coming in early 2022. The Thompson Denver is a 216-room hotel blending chalet-style design with mid-century and urban styles to offer upscale accommodations in the heart of the LoDo district.
There are also new Hyatt hotels that will soon welcome guests abroad. Hyatt Centric Old Montreal is coming in early 2022. The country’s first Hyatt Centric hotel will offer views of the beautiful region, including Château Viger. Still in Canada, Andaz Toronto will open its doors in late 2022.
In Indonesia, the Park Hyatt Jakarta will offer breathtaking views of the capital city. The opening is slated in early 2022. In Borneo, Malaysia, the Alila Dalit Bay will also open early next year, offering both rooms and villa options.

Denver ain’t in Texas, LoL
Haha, that jumped out at me as well. I’d also note w/r/t the Borneo property that it’s Dalit, not Balit, Bay, which is located outside of the city of Kota Kinabalu. https://www.alilahotels.com/investment/dalit-bay
