Vegas IHG Rewards Flash Sale
Update:The sale is now live.
The Venetian and Palazzo hotels in Las Vegas are Intercontinental Alliance resorts and thus can be booked with IHG Rewards Club points. Both are pretty high-end properties and each costs 50,000 points per night to book.
On weekends and sometimes during busy convention weeks, these two properties can cost upwards of $300-$400 per night. For example, here are the prices for an upcoming Saturday night.
The Flash Sale
Starting at Noon Eastern on March 10, 2015 and running for 24 hours, IHG Rewards Club is holding a flash sale for the Ventian & Palazzo. They held a similar sale last year as well. This one appears to be nearly identical with rooms costing 50% of the normal 50,000 points.
While you can no doubt find cheaper properties in Vegas to stay at, if you are looking at staying at either the Venetian or the Palazzo, then this deal may be for you. Both of the properties are spectacular and provide a surprisingly high level of service.

I went on line and not a single day in 2015 had availability.
Thanks for the update. It was a popular deal and I am sure they limited inventory. I am surprised it went so quickly.
