Chase has launched a new and improved welcome bonus for its popular Chase Sapphire Preferred credit card. You can now get 60,000 points plus a $300 Chase Travel credit. This same offer is also available through referrals. But if you apply in branch, you can get an additional 10,000 points with an extra $2,000 spend. Let’s take a look at the details.

The Offer

  • Earn 60,000 bonus points after $4,000 in purchases in your first 3 months from account opening. That’s worth $750 when redeemed through Chase Travel.
  • IN-BRANCH ONLY: Earn an extra 10,000 points when you spend an additional $2,000 (for a total of $6,000) in your first 3 months.
  • Plus, get up to $300 in statement credits on Chase Travel purchases within your first year.

Conclusion

It has been a while since we saw an increased welcome bonus on the Chase Sapphire Preferred card. This new bonus will get you 60,000 points and a $300 credit for Chase Travel purchases. This same offer is also available through referral links.

You can earn an extra 10,000 bonus if you apply at a Chase branch, but you also need to spend an extra $2,000.
