Eligibility

All the offers mentioned above have the lifetime restriction. Welcome bonus offer not available to applicants who have or have had this product.

Conclusion

These are great offers and definitely worth it if you’ve had your eyes on any of these cards. The Delta Platinum Business and SPG Business offers are the best we have seen. I would suggest waiting a couple of days though to apply if you can use a friend’s referral bonus. We often see the same offer pop up through referrals soon after. Lifetime restriction applies to these offers, so many readers will probably be ineligible.

  1. Is the statement credit of $100 if you spend $100 at Delta. The way it reads “after you make a Delta purchase” sounds like any purchase at Delta would generate the statement credit! Never seen this addressed!

    • Any purchase from Delta works. A $3 Pringles can, airline taxes, a gift card etc. will all issue the credit. You do not need to spend the full $100.

      • This may be a crazy reply but to fully explain, will a $3 Pringle purchase generate a $100 credit OR a $3 credit?

        • Any Delta purchase gets the $100 credit – so the $3 pringles purchase on a Delta flight will get you the full credit.

  2. If I am a Delta Gold and want to upgrade to Platinum, would I qualify for the bonus miles? I did receive a sign up bonus on Gold but it was 5 years ago.
Wasn’t sure if the “lifetime” was across all cards.

    • If you apply for the Platinum you should get the bonus since it is a different product. That is how it has always worked at least. If you upgrade you will not get the bonus unless you have a specific upgrade offer on your account.
