Barclays and JetBlue have launched an improved welcome bonus for the JetBlue Plus card. This is a popular product for JetBlue loyalists as it gets you free checked bags and 10% rebate on points redemptions. And now you can also earn a bonus of 80,000 points when you apply in the app. Let’s see the details.

The Offer

  • Apply for the JetBlue Plus Card now and earn 80,000 bonus points after spending $1,000 on purchases and paying the annual fee in full, both within the first 90 days.
  • 0% Introductory APR for 12 months for each balance transfer made within 45 days of account opening.
  • Annual Fee: $99
  • NO DIRECT LINK (offer is available in the JetBlue app)

Card Highlights

  • Earn 6X points on eligible JetBlue purchases
  • Earn 2X points at restaurants and eligible grocery stores
  • Free first checked bag on JetBlue operated flights.
  • 5,000 bonus points each year after your JetBlue Plus Card account anniversary
  • Get 10% of your points back after you redeem for and travel on a JetBlue-operated Award Flight
  • $100 statement credit annually after you purchase a JetBlue Vacations package of $100 or more with your JetBlue Plus Card.

Conclusion

Normally the JetBlue Plus Card has a bonus of 50,000 points. Now you can earn 80,000 points and the spending requirement has remained the same at just $1,000.

The highest ever offer we have seen for this card was 100,000 points, but that was a few years ago.
