Citi has increased the bonus for two of its American Airlines credit cards. You can earn a total of 140,000 miles with both bonuses. Let’s look at the offers.

Citi AAdvantage Platinum Select Card – 65,000 Bonus

Earn 65,000 American Airlines AAdvantage® bonus miles after $4,000 in purchases within the first 4 months of account opening.

Annual fee $99, waived for the first 12 months.

Conclusion

These are both good offers. But you can do even better if you’re willing to go for e lesser miles offer and then hope for a match from Citi. This 40K + $250 bonus is still available, You could end up getting 60K miles, plus the $250 credit. Citi has been pretty good at matching for higher offers, but there’s always a risk.
