Jet.com Amex Offer Final Days
As I covered back in December, there was an Amex Offer floating around giving $20 off a Jet.com purchase of $50 or more. It was actually one of the few good offers that didn’t expire on December 31, 2015. Instead, this offer is good through January 31, 2016.
Unfortunately you cannot load the offer to your cards anymore, but since it was available widely via the American Express website and via Twitter, I’m sure many of you have the offer available loaded to your cards. In case you forgot, here are the exact offer details:
Get a one-time $20 statement credit by using your connected Card to spend a minimum of $50+ in one or more transactions online at jet.com or on the jet.com mobile app by 1/31/16.
A Warning
Over the past month and half I have made quite a few purchases from Jet and have noticed that the charge doesn’t go through until the item ships. If for some reason you order on the last day and the item doesn’t ship until February, then you might not get the credit. That wouldn’t be good at all, so I suggest purchasing a little sooner.
New Portal For 5% More
Historically Jet.com hasn’t been available on any portals, but I have some good news for you. A few days ago I noticed that BeFrugal had added Jet.com at 3% cashback. Well, the news gets even better than that. As of now, Upromise is currently offering 5% cashback at Jet.com. That means that you will receive a whopping 45% off your purchase when factoring in the Amex Offer credit and portal cashback. Not quite 50%, but I’ll take it!
Conclusion
While Jet.com hasn’t quite proven to be the powerhouse that we hoped it would, their prices are still fairly decent on a number of items and thus 45% off is a great deal. My only caution is to purchase things that should ship soon, because it isn’t guaranteed that you will get the credit if it doesn’t ship before the end of January. Happy saving!

Jet cancels accounts that are duplicates for the same household or the same person trying to sneak the new customer bonus percentage off. In fact, they cancel all accounts unless you beg for one back. That’s what a friend did and it worked.
I never understood all the limitations related to a household. What if you live in a huge house with roommates or a frat house? How can they assume its all the same person? I always felt that was stupid. Everyone is entitled to their “own” deal and shouldnt be banned due to the same address, but I guess many abuse it.
After about 50 orders in the last two weeks, jet cancelled my most recent orders and appears to have disabled my account.
Oh well. I’m sure I’ll get the credits on what I got in.
They did this to me on my very first order. Their automated systems probably don’t like people on a VPN…
Thanks for bringing this one back around. For as much as every deal seams to get rehashed these days, I’ve heard very little about this one. Don’t forget an additional 15% off your first order… if only I’d waited for the additional 5%, I’d be drinking a Mai Thai on some exotic beach right now.
FWAK! Now they bust out a Jet.com portal!? IM SO PISSED!
Already used all my AMEX offers and couldve got decent cashback. I hate it when I pull the trigger too early.
That’s what she said! =O
In all seriousness, this is pretty awesome, although I wish I knew over the last few days when submitting a bunch of orders. The mail guys probably think I’m nuts with a ton of big purple boxes coming daily!
FYI you’ll get 5% cash back using the Upromise CC too. 10% off Jet can’t be beat.
