JetBlue Adding Mint Service From NYC to Seattle

I just received an email that Mint Service is expanding from NY. This is awesome news. JetBlue’s Mint is characterized as Business Class but has all the bells and whistles of premium First Class Offerings. Beginning April 15, 2018, Mint will be offered on the route from NYC’s JFK to Seattle.

Pricing

JetBlue, like most airlines has variable ticket pricing based on a number of factors. Tickets on Mint seem to have a more set pricing pattern (at least at the low end.) Though, I’ve seen Mint tickets for the same route vary up to $2,000. Award ticket prices are directly correlated with the cash price of a ticket. You can find booking details and an example of TrueBlue point’s valuations in this post comparing First Class trans-con flight options.

JetBlue TrueBlue points are fairly easy to come by. They can be transferred from You can transfer them from Citi Thank You and American Express Membership Rewards. There are also 3 different Barclays’ JetBlue branded cards.

Conclusion

I am thrilled anytime JetBlue expands Mint service because it is such an awesome flight experience compared to other domestic First Class products. Also, it’s noce to see that the Mint flights will run multiple times a day as opposed to some other routes with less frequency. This may help keep prices down a bit.
