JetBlue and Barclays Launch New Premier Credit Card
JetBlue today announced the launch of the JetBlue Premier World Elite Mastercard®, issued by Barclays US Consumer Bank. We revealed most of the benefits of the new card yesterday, but now we have the full details and the welcome bonus for new cardholders.
Welcome Bonus
Starting today, customers can apply for the JetBlue Premier Card and take advantage of a limited-time offer: 70,000 TrueBlue points and 5 tiles toward Mosaic qualification after spending $5,000 in the first three months.
Cardmembers who currently have or previously had a JetBlue Plus Card are not eligible for this offer. JetBlue Plus cardholders can upgrade to the JetBlue Premier card.
Annual Fee
The JetBlue Premier Card has an annual fee of $499 which is not waived the first year. You will also pay $150 for each authorized user.
Benefits
- JetBlue Lounge Access: Premier Cardmembers and one guest will enjoy complimentary access to JetBlue’s recently announced lounges arriving at New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) Terminal 5 in late 2025 and Boston Logan International Airport’s (BOS) Terminal C soon after.

- Points Redemption Bonus: Get 10% of redeemed points back after traveling on a JetBlue-operated Award Flight.
- Points Payback: Redeem points for a statement credit on purchases of $25 or more.
- In-Flight Discounts: Save 50% on eligible food and drink purchases aboard JetBlue-operated flights.
- No Foreign Transaction Fees
Earning Points
Premier Cardmembers can earn TrueBlue points and tiles with travel spend and everyday purchases:
- 6x points per $1 spent on eligible JetBlue and Paisly purchases including JetBlue Vacations®
- 2x points per $1 spent at restaurants and eligible grocery stores
- 1x points per $1 spent on all other purchases
Every dollar spent will get Cardmembers closer to award travel, Perks You Pick® and even Mosaic status. Cardmembers earn 1 tile for every $1,000 in eligible spend.

Haha, what a joke! $5,000 spend for 70,00 points is $100 annual fee or less territory (heck, Chase has several cards that will get you that or more in transferable points for $0 annual fee!). JetBlue themselves offers a $99 biz card that will get you 60,00 points! Paisly (haha, what now?) credit: you have to spend $1,500 total – in 6 separate transaction… ROFL!!! No lounge access (Priority Pass is both a joke and something I think everyone already has – I have 2). Just about what you can expect from an airline that’s going down fast. The absolute worst premium card launch ever.
