JetBlue Award Sale 25 Percent Off
JetBlue just announced a pretty amazing sale where they are giving 25% off almost all award redemptions through the middle of November. Greg the Frequent Miler received this offer via email (and I shared it in a Quick Deal) and it is now available on their website. Let’s take a look.
The Offer
Redeem your TrueBlue points for an Award Flight by August 4 and save 25% when you travel between September 7 and November 16, 2016!
How It Works & Restrictions
- Head to jetblue.com, where all eligible Award Flights fares will automatically include the 25% discount.
- Book between now and August 4th
- Fly September 7 – November 16, 2016 (Blackout dates 10/6 – 10/16/16)
- Fly Mon – Thurs and Sat. (not valid for flights on Fri. or Sun.)
Key Terms
- Restrictions: Fares must be purchased using TrueBlue points between now and 8/4/16 (the earlier of 11:59 PM EST or local) for flights on Mon through Thurs and Sat. only between 9/7/16 and 11/16/16 (Blackout Dates 10/6 – 10/16/16).
- Fares will automatically include a 25% discount on the base fare point requirement for Award Flight redemption.
- Fares are subject to availability; may not be available on all flights; may change without notice; must be purchased at time of reservation; and are nonrefundable and nontransferable.
- Offer is limited to registered TrueBlue members in good standing redeeming Award Flight fares using TrueBlue points for new bookings only; offer not valid in connection with monetary flight fares, purchases on partner airlines or code share or interline flights, JetBlue Getaways vacation packages, previously booked Award Flights or any other product or service.
You can find the full terms and details of the award sale on the JetBlue website.
Analysis
This is a very good deal if you have upcoming plans, especially if you have already received your Virgin America matched points. JetBlue is a revenue based program so your points price will be determined by the cash price, but other than the blackout dates and restrictions for no Friday or Sunday, all flights should be available for savings. A pretty good deal and one open to everyone. I’m just sad that I won’t be completing my match flight until the end of this month and thus I ain’t got no points. 🙁
