JetBlue Will No Longer Be a Transfer Partner for Capital One and Brex

JetBlue will soon end its partnership with two point programs, Capital One and Brex Rewards. Later in October, you will no longer be able to transfer from those programs to JetBlue TrueBlue points.

Capital One sent out an email to miles earning cardholders, to inform them of this change. Transferring Capital One miles to JetBlue TrueBlue will no longer be an option as of 11:59pm ET on 10/24/21.

Brex Rewards has also posted a similar notification on its transfer page. It says that JetBlue TrueBlue will no longer be a transfer partner as of 10/25/21.

Conclusion

JetBlue wasn’t really the best transfer option for either program, since the transfer ratios are not great and JetBlue uses revenue based award prices.

You can currently transfer miles from Capital One to JetBlue at a ratio of 1,000 Capital One miles to 750 JetBlue TruBlue points. For Brex Rewards the transfer ratio is better, 1:1.

However, losing transfer partners is never a good thing. The more transfer options you have, the more valuable and versatile those point are. Hopefully these programs bring on some new additions to make up for losing JetBlue.
