Marriott and MGM Partnership Benefits
Marriott International and MGM Resorts announced an exclusive long-term strategic agreement last summer. MGM previously had a quite popular partnership with Hyatt.
Part of that announcement was also the creation of MGM Collection with Marriott Bonvoy. But more benefits were promised, although we were not very hopeful.
Now the two companies have shared more details about the partnership. Starting this year, MGM Resorts destinations will be available for booking on Marriott.com and the Marriott Bonvoy mobile app.
You can also check out some of the benefits that you will receive as part of this Marriott International and MGM Resorts agreement.

Terrible, particularly since you pay a 10-20% premium to book through marriott vs directly through mgm. Very easy to get 25% off published rates directly through mgm just by having a rewards account.
Is the tier matching reciprocal? Bonvoy to MGM?
No unfortunately there won’t be a match from Marriott to MGM. Just the benefits they laid out.
Boy is this underwhelming…
On tier matching, does it work in reverse? If I have Bonvoy Gold Elite, can I get MGM Platinum?
Nope. There won’t be a match from Bonvoy to MGM status.
