MGM Amex Offer: Spend $400 Get $80/8K Points

There’s a new targeted Amex Offer available that can save you up to 20% at some MGM Resorts properties. As always, this offer should stack with the Amex FHR Program. Let’s take a look.

The Offer

Get 8,000 additional Membership Rewards points (or $80 statement credit) one-time by using your enrolled Card to spend a minimum of $400+ on room rate and room charges, when you pay for your stay with select MGM Resorts Destinations from 1/31/2020 to 5/4/2020.

  • Reservations must be made directly through MGM Resorts online at mlife.com, by phone, or via mobile app.
  • Excludes all other MGM Resorts destinations. Not valid for Bellagio Shanghai, Four Seasons rooms and residences, and the ARIA Residential Program.
  • Excludes gift card purchases.

Conclusion

Past hotel Amex Offers have worked on gift cards if you purchase them at the front desk, however there is no guarantee that will work with this offer. As noted in the terms, gift cards are technically excluded. Could also be useful for personal use if you have any trips to Vegas coming up.
