Midnight on Fremont Street Walking Tour

Vegas is always in the news, but it seems the story everyone (including us on MtM Vegas) has been discussing lately is crowds. No doubt Las Vegas is much busier than it has been in the past and that is a great thing for the city’s recovery no matter how you feel about the crowds.

One of the areas that gets a lot of attention when anyone talks about Vegas is Fremont Street. With its first new casino in 40 years (Circa) and a lively atmosphere it is one of the most popular places to visit in Las Vegas. Fremont is the heart of the old city, but it has also been plagued by issues and a poor reputation for awhile.

Recently my wife Jasmine and I stayed at Circa and decided to venture out onto Fremont Street at Midnight. Of course we walked the famous Fremont Street Experience, but we also ventured way further east including places I suspect many of you never go. You’ll be surprised at what we found on Fremont Street at Midnight. Take a look!

Midnight on Fremont Street Walking Tour – Bottom Line

I’ve been so happy to see the redevelopment of parts of Fremont Street and Jasmine and I had a blast checking out all of the neon. While I won’t say all of the areas of Downtown Las Vegas are safe, we felt fine during this particular walk and never felt unsafe. Whether you decide to walk down Fremont at Midnight or a little earlier, I highly suggest taking in everything that is new done there including the many stunning neon signs.

  1. Enjoyed the video; thanks. Here’s hoping the masks and plastic dividers are gone soon. Also need Main Street Station to open – that’s my place for beer!

  2. Hey Shawn,

Have you recently booked MGM hotels thru LHRC? Hyatt does not recognize those as qualifying nights now. I got points but not qualifying night credit. What is your solution? My concierge said it is booked thru third party and cannot count as qualifying nights. Thanks.

  3. A Friday or Saturday midnight stroll down Fremont Street East is a totally different atmosphere and level of safety in numbers than that same stroll at midnight Sunday through Thursday. Stoller beware!!
