What About After The Meet Up?

This will be the opening weekend of the Mardi Gras parades.  So we will get to see the parade atmosphere without all of the craziness that comes along with actual Mardi Gras. We may put together a dinner for anyone that is staying Sunday evening as well.

Final Thoughts

I am very excited about this event, it will be low key and laid back.  This is a great opportunity to mingle with like minded hobbyists and I am sure tips and deals that are not normally shared on the web will be shared in person.

These type of events are where you make connections and friendships that last. These events allow you to build a network.  A network of people that will allow you to ask for tips when visiting their city or maybe meet up for dinner and drinks when you are in town on business etc.  You don’t want to miss out on an opportunity like that do you? Be sure to purchase your tickets early so that your first drink is on us!

This will be added to our Miles to Memories Events page.

  5. Do you find that people just starting the game get a lot out of these meetups or is it better to get to know some people in the community it’s first?

    • I think it is a way to build relationships and networks as well as ask questions. I think they are useful for all levels.

  6. Hey guys, I’m a cabbie down here in New Orleans. My business partner and I can gladly provide prompt, reliable transportation from and to the airport, for anybody who needs it. And of course, we accept all major credit cards. I’m not sure if it’s ok with Mark to post our taxi rates here, but I can be contacted at uptowndave@aol.com.
