[DP] Amex Platinum 5x airfare works with MPX app
This comes from Reddit and has been covered by other blogs, but I wouldn’t hold my breath. The thread has mixed data points including multiple reports that the Premier Rewards Gold card doesn’t earn an airfare bonus when going through the MileagePlus X app. Feel free to read through and decide for yourself, but I would hold off.
Chase Ink Plus 70,000 Point Offer With Waived Annual Fee Still Available In Branch
Good to see that this is around. Remember that many people have been approved for various Chase cards including the Ink Plus when they are over 5/24 if they are pre-approved in branch. This offer without the annual fee could just be enough motivation to go in to a branch to see if you can get one.

This is a good move for Etihad since its gets their elites some sort of “alliance style” benefits and consistency when flying on partners.
Great Deals
- eBay has various gift cards on sale including a $100 eGift card + Free $15 code for $100 from PayPal Digital Gifts. You won’t earn eBay Bucks, but I am told a portal starting with “i” may be paying out, but that isn’t guaranteed.
- Hopefully by this point you jumped on a previous Sam’s Club deal, but if not Groupon has a one year membership, $5 e-gift card (which can also be used at Walmart) and a free chicken for $25. Use a portal to save more. Not the best deal we have seen, but it may come in handy for some.
Thanks!
On a personal note, I want to thank my friend and family travel expert Leslie from Trips with Tykes for making an amazing Pinterest cover (seen below) for my Shanghai Disneyland review! If you haven’t read it, then you are missing something special. Shanghai Disneyland is truly a magical place.

Thanks Audrey.
